World famous techno DJ Truncate created a Mixed 6 playlist for us on Spotify, pairing his own tracks with some of his favorite brews. Listen and drink along with the selections below, and then read our beer-soaked interview with him by clicking here!

1) "86" + Almanac Beer Co. Craft Pilsner

“I think this dry-hopped pilsner is a nice fit, since I feel ‘86’ has a sort of summer vibe, and the beer makes for very easy drinking. You can easily go through a few of these before you know it.”

2.) "Terminal 5" + Beachwood Brewing Tovarish Imperial Stout

“This harder track deserves a darker, stronger beer, and I think this stout is a good fit. It drinks great during the winter, with a higher ABV to keep you warm -- just like this track will keep you warm and constantly moving on the dance floor."

3.) "Process" + Other Half Double Dry Hopped Mylar Bags

“Mylar Bags is a deliciously hoppy, hazy and juicy IPA. Even at 8.5% ABV, you wouldn’t even notice how strong this beer is, because it goes down so smooth -- just like this track doesn’t really feel like a 132bpm banger.”

4.) "Model 2" + Modern Times Protocosmos

“To me, this track sounds a bit spacey and futuristic. Right away, Galaxy hops come to mind, so I went with this Galaxy-heavy IPA from Modern Times.”

5.) "Submission" + Mikkeller San Diego No Haze Off

“No Haze Off is a straightforward, to-the-point New England style IPA: Hoppy and juicy, it goes down real smooth, like this track I produced with Jimmy Edgar.”

6.) "Breakdown" + Noble Aleworks Citra Showers

“Citrusy, dank, and fruity, with a bitter finish.”
